Case — an AI-powered journal system
Validi
Validi is Indee's own journal system for addiction treatment and social psychiatry — built from the ground up with AI components that suggest journal notes, speech-to-text and intelligent care plans. It's our living proof that AI implementation can be done properly, in production, with real users.
What the AI components do
Concrete AI features in a system that's in production at Danish clinics.
AI-suggested journal notes
Based on the service user's actual data, the AI suggests structured journal text. The staff member always decides what goes in.
Speech-to-text
Dictate journal notes in Danish instead of typing. Typically saves 40-60% of documentation time per service user.
Intelligent care plans
The AI suggests structure and content for care plans based on the service user's history and goals — always with full editorial control.
Status reports
The AI drafts status reports from the journal history, so staff only need to edit rather than write from scratch.
CPR lookup and data models
Data integration with public registries (the Danish civil register) and structured data models that keep the AI features accurate and dependable.
A complete journal system
Beyond the AI features, Validi is a full journal system with medication management, SMS, booking, invoicing and an audit trail.
Security and GDPR — from day one
GDPR-compliant
Full GDPR compliance. Sensitive personal data (civil registration numbers, health information) is encrypted in the database.
Encrypted data
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Hosted in Europe.
Access control
Role-based access control. Multi-tenant: each clinic has its own closed space.
Audit log
Complete logging of every action — who opened which record, who dispensed medication, who changed what. Exportable to CSV.
